DEFUSE THE HARASSMENT before everything gets out of hand.
Everyone in the workplace has a duty to respect personal and professional boundaries, whether their own or their colleagues’. In order to defuse and prevent harassment, you must do the following:
COMMUNICATE YOUR LIMITS
Be able to communicate your own limits
while respecting other people’s needs.
SOLVE SENSITIVE ISSUES
Be able to solve sensitive issues and not let them drag on.
ASK FOR HELP
Ask for help when you need it and don’t let a situation get out of hand. It’s inevitable: the problem will only get worse!
