Dear member,
A quick reminder that you can register, if you haven’t already done so, with the Artists’ Foundation Netflix Emergency Fund if you meet the following criteria:
- Priority will be given to artists[1] working in Quebec in French. They may also work in English in Quebec and be eligible;
- Priority will be given to artists working in the audiovisual field;
- Be self-employed[2];
- Being a victim of loss or postponement of contracts related to COVID-19;
- Not be eligible for regular Employment Insurance benefits (formerly called Unemployment Insurance).
And finally, provide all the required supporting documents.
IATSE 514 members can fill out the following form (in french for now).
Once your application is complete, send it to Gilles Charland, AQTIS Executive Director, at gcharland@aqtis.qc.ca. Verifications will be made and your application will be forwarded to the Foundation. The entire process is carried out in the strictest confidentiality. You will be informed of the decision afterwards.
