Dear member,
Due to the exceptional circumstances that plague us, we will have many challenges to overcome when things return to normal. It was already planned in our actions for the year 2020, even before the events of the past few weeks that we were going to take initiatives to meet with federal MP’s from Québec.
In our lobbying strategy with these deputies, we decided to be accompanied by members of our union organization living in the electoral counties that we targeted. Our goal is to make the meeting with these members very concrete. It is for this reason that we have chosen to be accompanied by industry workers who will speak to give a real meaning to our meetings.
We want to reassure you here, by telling you that over the years you union leaders had many meeting of that sort. Second, know that we have a very specific scenario to follow and that we will share with you during our meeting preparation sessions.
Below you will find the names of the deputies and the counties targeted by our lobbying efforts. If time permits, we invite you to do some research on your MP and those listed in order to find out about the functions and knowledge or your MP. You will notice that a region north of Montreal is targeted if you live in this region of the Laurentians or if you have a second home, it would be appropriate to consider participating in this process and we encourage you to do so.
