Legault recommends wearing the mask

Dear member,

The Premier of Quebec, François Legault, has strongly recommended that Quebeckers wear the mask when they leave the house. It is not necessary to have an N95 mask, a mask made by hand can do the job.

“When we take the bus or the metro, or when we are in a situation where we are not necessarily able to make sure we are two metres away, for example in a store, it is better to have a mask”, he said.

Wearing a mask doesn’t protect against COVID-19, but it does protect other people you meet if you are infected, with or without symptoms, with the coronavirus.

François Legault also asked residents in the “hot zones” of Montreal and Laval to go to testing clinics to get tested, even if they are asymptomatic.

With solidarity,
