Mandatory Trainings
- Mandatory trainings are as follows (except for assistant greensperson — see listed specific training)
- Standard First Aid with CPR/AED (Level C)
- WHMIS 2015
- Criminal liability for occupational health and safety
- Respect, civility and prevention of harassment in the workplace (QUEBEC)
- Basic Fall Protection
- Safety Qualification for Lift Truck (classes I, IV, V)
- Safety Qualifications for Rough Terrain Lift Trucks (Class VII)
- Safety Qualifications for Scissor Lifts and Articulated Boom Lifts
- Safe operation of lift trucks (refresh)
Classification Criteria for Greens Department
Key Greensperson
1- Has cumulated a work experience of 500 days, including cumulative days as an assistant key greensperson, on more than one production.
2- Has completed all mandatory trainings for greens department.
3- Has completed a training course on Criminal liability for occupational health and safety (Bill C-21 / Assistant Department Manager)
Assistant Key Greensperson
1- Has cumulated a work experience of 400 days, including cumulative days as a greensperson, on more than one production.
2- Has completed all mandatory trainings for greens department.
3- Has completed a manipulation chainsaw training and a Loader (Kubota)
Senior Greensperson
1- Has completed 350 days of work experience on more than one production.
2- Has completed all mandatory trainings for greens department.
3- Has completed a manipulation chainsaw training and a Loader (Kubota).
Greensperson
1- Can demonstrate a work experience of 120 days on more than one production.
2- Has completed trainings in WHMIS 2015, First Aid (Level C), Basic Fall Protection, Safety Qualification for Lift Truck (classes I, IV, V), Safety Qualifications for Rough Terrain Lift Trucks (Class VII), Safety Qualifications for Scissor Lifts and Articulated Boom Lifts.
Assistant-Greensperson
1- Can demonstrate a work experience of 90 days on more than three productions.
