Portable fire extinguisher use

Description

Interactive training on the use of portable extinguishers on real fire is an advantage for your safety, and the safety of your colleagues and family in the outbreak of a fire. Participants will be introduced to principles of combustion, fire classes and types of portable fire extinguishers used in business premises.

Target population

The training is for all full-time and part-time workers as well as all business leaders.

Goals

Following training, participants will be able to:

  1. IMPLEMENT appropriate extinguishing techniques with multipurpose ABC powder;
  2. IMPLEMENT appropriate extinguishing techniques with carbon dioxide (CO2);
  3. CHECK AND VALIDATE the condition of a portable extinguisher.
  4. CHECK, CALL, CARE;
  5. GIVE first aid in case of:
    • Cardiorespiratory Arrest
    • Head and Spine Injuries
    • Bone, Muscle, and Articulation Injuries
    • Poisoning;
  6. IMPLEMENT CPR to adults, children and babies;
  7. IMPLEMENT appropriate extinguishing techniques with multipurpose ABC powder;
  8. IMPLEMENT appropriate extinguishing techniques with carbon dioxide (CO2);
  9. CHECK AND VALIDATE the condition of a portable extinguisher.
